A few days ago, DeeDee and I looked at a baby grand
reproducing piano that's for sale locally. DeeDee is
a retired music teacher and piano is her instrument.
For almost our entire marriage, I have been trying to
find a reproducing piano that she would be happy to
play. The brand of the piano that we looked at is a
Noll and it's a small baby grand (about 5'). DeeDee
gave it a lot of thought and decided to keep her
current piano so I thought I'd throw it our to the
group. If interested, please contact me off list and
I'll be happy to provide the name of the seller. For
those that are unfamiliar with a reproducing pianos,
in addition to being an instrument, they also play
rolls similar to a player piano. Unlike a player
piano that sounds very mechanical, a reproducing piano
plays with all the expression that the pianist used
making the roll. A reproducing piano is nothing less
than wonderful. It could be delivered to Union and
the seller is asking $2000.
