There is an existing contract between eBay and the seller as soon as the auction is listed. It is a part of the TOS and the selling agreement. If you have not read them you just might want to do that. Remember the seller who tried to welsh on the nice Victor? He lost in court. Now, if the listing has words to the effect of "the seller reserves the right to end this auction early" then the seller is in the clear and may do so at his discretion. The seller in this case is a certified low life and a cheat. I could say more about his ancestry but will not.
