I have significant questions about the negative feedback which the seller
has received.

===============================

The seller is a consignment store in Santa Monica. Although I've never done
business with them, I know a couple of people who have had satisfactory
dealings. I wouldn't make too much of the negative feedback. He's had 15 negatives
out of a grand total of 12,144 positives (counting multiple feedbacks from
the same buyers). Considering the truth of the old saying "you can't please
everyone," 15 negatives is pretty insignificant. However, that does NOT excuse
a rude reply to a perfectly normal inquiry. I find that pretty shocking, as
well as surprising for a seller who does so much business. That is definitely
a red flag.

As for the machine, I agree with others that something is very wrong. The
cabinet is quite different from my songbird Puck, much lower base, different
shape molding, very out-of-character carrying handle, and latches on the ends
instead of the sides. It looks way too shiny and new, especially considering
the slightly rough condition of the casting and horn.

Best regards,
Rene Rondeau
