Jack Palmer's book shows that Dalhart did the record on April 13, 1925, Matrix 10315-C. I take this to mean that take #3 was the one issued, but there is no note of any other take being issued. The DD number was 51557, and the BA was 5011. I hope that bthis is what you wanted. > [Original Message] > From: Robert Wright <esroberto at hotmail.com> > To: Antique Phonograph List <phono-l at oldcrank.org> > Date: 5/26/2007 6:04:23 PM > Subject: [Phono-L] Edison/Dalhart question > > So no one can tell me how many takes of "In The Baggage Coach Ahead" Edison > released by Vernon Dalhart? > > _______________________________________________ > Phono-L mailing list > http://phono-l.oldcrank.org
