Mario, I used a low tech way to make cylinder pegs when I made my own cylinder cabinet. I bought a length of wooden closet rod (the rod that you hang the clothes on) and cut it to length. I then used my bench sander to round the end that faces up. It is almost the same circumference as the original pegs and works quite well.
