Depending on how big of a hurry you are in and your definition of "nice" you are in the range of a low of 2000.00 - 2500.00 for a decent machine without horn to 10,000.00 for a museum quality restored example and higher for a high quality all original example. There is always the 750.00 to 1000.00 bargains out there but there are a lot of people looking for them also. You can go to Union and buy an average restoration for 7000.00 or so. I changed hobbies in the middle 80s and now would again like to collect a few nice machines. My question is how much would I have to spend to purchase a nice Opera, and where would be the best way to locate one? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
